Yay! My new idea has a face now...

Meet the Zodiac Puppies (Siberian Huskies). Also known as "Zodies".

An idea I've had floating around my mind for a while. I thought it would be an appealing concept of 12 little characters that represented the 12 different astrological signs of the Zodiac.

I am an astrology geek. I take pride in it and believe in pretty much all of it (with the exceptions of fake daily horoscopes, those are usually full of junk.)

I thought it would make a GREAT kids show/animated series. Each puppy has it's own unique personality that is representative of the zodiac sign. I envisioned this show to be a good way to teach children about getting along with all kinds of people and other essential lessons about love, life and nature. I imagine it would be more popular with the more liberal-minded parents (A.K.A. people who don't think Astrology is the stuff of the devil.... which it's not.)

I want it to be accurate with western astrology. Each puppy's color was chosen based on what the MAJORITY of sources claimed was that sign's primary color. The eyes are any other color that each sign represents. The little necklaces they wear carry each individual sign's special gemstone.

BTW, I apologize if anyone has already come up with an idea similar to this, you have my word that I came up with this idea un-influenced by someone else's work.

Actually the only thing that really gave me this idea was the CareBears and My Little Ponies.

I would also love to hear your opinions on the color choices, etc. or if you have some fun ideas I could add.
